Impossibly Easy Coconut Custard Pie
1 cup flaked or shredded coconut
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
1/4 cup butter, softened
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1- Heat oven to 400°F. Grease 9-inch pie plate with shortening or cooking spray.
2- In medium bowl, stir all ingredients until blended. Pour into pie plate.
3- Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown and knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cover and refrigerate any remaining pie.

With all the chaos that children can bring, you would think that they would cause the most stress in a marriage.
However, new research suggests that it’s actually the husband who induces more stress into his wife’s life.
Because many women feel like they are parent to their children as well as to their husband.
A survey conducted in the United States with more than 7,000 mothers revealed that husbands generate on average a stress level of 8.5 out of 10. 46% of women surveyed said that their husbands caused more stress than their children.
The survey also highlighted that three in every four mums reported that they do most of the parenting and household duties.
One in five mums also said that not having enough help from their partner was a huge source of daily stress.
In essence, this research suggests that the real reason for stress in parenting has less to do with children and more to do with the lack of support women get from their partners.
In addition, researchers from the University of Padova also found that after the death of their wives, the health of husbands deteriorates, whereas, after the death of their husbands, women actually become healthier and cope with depression and stress much easier than when their spouse was alive and kicking.
Why Does This Happen?
In families in which both parents are working full-time, women are often left with most of the parenting duties, such as organising playdates, helping with homework and making doctors appointments.
So why does this happen? Well, on the one hand, women tend to be more organised than men, the problem is that some mums do not fully trust their partner to take on these responsibilities, so rather than share the load, they do it all by themselves.
However, on the other hand, husbands sometimes believe that their wives have everything under control and assume that she will ask for help if she needs it.

14. Removing grime from suede shoes
You need to rub steel wool hard against the stain. Perhaps you’ll have to do the same with the rest of the shoe to keep it even.
An ordinary dish sponge will help absorb leftover water if your shoes are wet.

Vinegar will be good for synthetic fabrics while adding 2-3 tablespoons of salt to the washing powder will restore the colors of natural fabrics.
9. Preventing a sweater from itching, losing its color, and being eaten by moths
A wool sweater is a product that sometimes causes inconvenience and requires delicate care.
If you place a folded sweater into a plastic bag and into a freezer, it will pill and shed less. Moreover, low temperatures kill the larvae of moths.
You can get rid of itchiness by wetting the sweater and putting it into the freezer for 10 hours. After that, you’ll need to de-freeze it in warm water and dry it off.
8. Bringing back snow white color to underwear
Boric acid can help to get rid of yellow stains on clothing and bring back the snow white color they once had before the many washes you’ve put them through.
You’ll need to use 60 g of boric acid with 4 liters of water for heavily soiled items, and 20 g of the acid with 10 liters of water for a more gentle wash.
Soak it for 2 hours. It’s not recommended to use this method too often.
7. Getting rid of static clinging on clothing
Static clinging can be stopped by using a metal item. In order to stop clothes from clinging to the body, you’ll need to loop it through a metal hanger before putting it on.
You can also use a clothespin by attaching it to the inner part of the clothing item or rubbing a thimble against the whole area of the item.
6. Removing a fresh berry stain
This simple trick works only if the berry stain is fresh. You’ll need to stretch the cloth and pour boiling water on the dirty surface until the stain disappears.
Experienced homemakers note that removing berry stains from natural fabrics is more difficult than from synthetic items.

Fir oil can help remove oil fuel stains. You should take 2 cotton pads or sponges, place one pad under the stain, and rub the stain with the second pad soaked in oil.
If the stain didn’t disappear with the first attempt, try again. After doing this, you’ll need to wash the item.
4. Removing a mildew smell
Things that have been lying in a closet for a long time smell bad. In order to get rid of this mildew smell, you’ll need to dilute the alcohol with water in the ratio of 1: 2 and apply this solution to the clothing with a spray bottle.
3. If a white item ends up in a washing cycle with colored clothing
Potassium permanganate can help if you mistakenly wash white items with colored items.
You should solute 3-5 crystals of potassium permanganate in a glass of water (the solution should have a light pink color).
After that, pour the solution into 9 liters of hot water and add 1/3 of the grated laundry soap bar.
Soak the colored white clothes in this solution for 50 minutes and wash them normally.
2. Restoring shrunken clothes
This method works well with knitted items. Add some baby shampoo or hair conditioner to warm water.
You can also add some fabric softener to it. Soak a shrunken item in this solution for at least 30 minutes.

Thinning hair can be very tedious and also quite confronting. You’ve tried a couple of expensive shampoos and creams but nothing seems to be working to help you maintain your beautiful ‘do.
This problem will be a thing of the past, though, because if you rub this natural, homemade mixture on your head every week the results might just astound you.
The mixture only contains three ingredients (all of them natural!) and you can very simply do this at home. You’ll need to be a little patient before you notice the results, though; it’ll take about two to three months.
This is what you need:
2 tablespoons sunflower oil
1 teaspoon honey
1 egg yolk
a swimming cap that stays on properly
This is what you need to do
Mix all three ingredients together in a bowl and then apply it to your hair and scalp. When you’ve applied it properly, put on the swimming cap and let everything soak into your hair.
Afterwards, thoroughly wash your hair with a natural shampoo or at least one that doesn’t contain any sulfates. This is less aggressive and much better for your hair.
Do this every week on a set day and your hair might just become a lot thicker.
Removing a wart can be really easy!
Most people will probably have had a wart before at some point. Warts are caused by a virus and they mostly appear on hands and feet, but they can also occur in different spots.
Although they’re innocent and most of them disappear again after a while, they can be annoying.
Most people let their doctor remove their warts, but did you know that you can also remove them by yourself quite easily?
There’s a trick that’s said to help you get rid of your warts completely painlessly and in no time at all.
It can be really easy to remove a small wart without experiencing any pain. All you need for this is a small piece of duct tape, some water and a pumice stone.
This is how it works: take the piece of duct tape and stick it on top of the wart.
Make sure it is covered properly, with about 1 cm on every side of it.
Now, you will have to leave the duct tape there for six days without touching it.
After six days, you can remove the duct tape. Take a bowl with warm water and soak the wart in this for about 5 minutes.
Next, get out the pumice stone and use this to scrub at the wart.
Since the water will have already soaked the skin, you can easily scour away the wart without it hurting. Such a simple trick!
